IUOE HAZMAT Beaver West Virginia

The IUOE National Training Fund (NTF) – National HAZMAT program is the safety and health training division in the network of training for operating engineers and stationary engineers in the United States. The overall objective of the NTF’s HAZMAT training program is clear: to prevent work-related harm by training workers and instructors how to best protect themselves and their communities from exposure to hazardous materials encountered during hazardous waste operations, Department of Energy sites, environmental restoration of contaminated facilities, or chemical emergency response.

The HAZMAT Program annually trainers over 400 Peer IUOE Trainers and supports training to over 25,000 operating engineers and other workers, including Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER), OSHA Construction and General Industry Outreach, MSHA Miner, and other safety and health courses.
